I have been in the construction industry since 2005. Before joining 4EA Building Science, I was a lead carpenter for a general contractor. There I gained practical knowledge of contractors’ motivations and responsibilities and learned new insights on field constructability. I have extensive knowledge of rot repair and remodeling for both mixed-use multi-family and commercial rehabilitation projects, which includes finish carpentry, window and door installation, roofing, decks and siding, framing, foundations, and demolition.

All of this experience translates into my project management responsibilities for 4EA, including construction administration, field reviews, and providing support for coordination and facilitation of water penetration resistance testing. I foster communication between project team members (both inside and outside of 4EA), and always make sure that the clients’ best interests are protected by putting myself in the shoes of the end user. I greatly value input from all parties and work with them to come up with solutions to questions and conditions that arise during construction.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and toddler, updating our house, working on personal carpentry projects, and playing music with friends.
