Transbay Block 2 East

Transbay Block 2 is a keystone parcel located in the Transbay District. The project is divided between two buildings, the East and West. The two buildings are separated by a through-block mews with open space.

The East building, designed by Kennerly Architecture and owned by Mercy Housing California, is a family-oriented building with 17 stories and 160 residential units at a range of affordability levels.

We worked in a design review capacity on Transbay Block 2 focusing on the assemblies, materials, and interfaces while collaborating with the design team. Once this project goes into construction, we will observe building enclosure construction and review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
