The Tony Lee
Named for a local attorney, civil rights advocate, and founding member of two non-profit coalitions promoting cultural equity, The Tony Lee is an affordable housing development in Seattle’s Lake City neighborhood. The first floor of the six-story building features a preschool operated by the Refugee Women’s Alliance (ReWA). Sustainable design features include a rooftop deck, green roof, and photovoltaic array.
4EA continued our long-standing relationship with the design, construction, and ownership teams by designing the enclosure components and participating in a collaborative process. We were uniquely invested in this project, as it is directly adjacent to our office. This allowed for close oversight, helping us Empower Others to make improvements in their own lives from the comfort of a modern, durable enclosure.
