Boren Office Lofts

Located in the Denny Triangle neighborhood of downtown Seattle, Boren Office Lofts is a new, sophisticated office tower designed with life science laboratories in mind. Each floor boasts a 12-foot-tall glazing that allows abundant light into the space. The enclosure includes precast concrete cladding, curtain wall glazing, and exterior amenity decks.

4EA worked with the development teams to Find a Solution for the enclosure that fits the high performance and aesthetic standards set by the design team while also working within the project budgetary constraints. This solution included development of an offsite assembly approach for most of the facade components, including large-format wall panels and large-format curtain wall glazing. This approach allowed the construction team to control for quality of the facade while also delivering the facade to site and setting the panels with minimal impact to site work.
