SHA to open new 82-unit Salish Landing

“Then home to some 44 residents, the Lam Bow apartments in West Seattle caught fire in September 2016. No one was injured, but one of the two Delridge-area buildings at 6955 Delridge Way S.W. was fatally damaged β then both were later demolished.
Thus, Seattle Housing Authority determined, it would build something bigger and better. Planning began about five years ago. SMR Architects designed the four- to five-story, 82-unit project, and Walsh Construction began groundwork in 2021. The temporary certificate of occupancy came this week for what’s now dubbed Salish Landing.”
