The Aries

Dec 11, 2023, DJC

“The Aries is a new 206,000-square-foot transit-oriented apartment community at 916 N. 143rd St. in Seattle’s Bitter Lake neighborhood.

The community has 200 units in a mix of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts for low-income individuals and families. Half of those units are larger two- and three-bedroom apartments.

Amenities are geared toward families and include an outside play area, game room and communal garden plots.

The project team used a collaborative cost-efficient design and construction approach. This included the careful layout of walls and units that minimized sheetrock waste and finishing.”

Dec 20, 2023, DJC

Its downtown corner site, at 640 108th Ave. N.E., is now a very active construction zone, with two tower cranes above the large underground garage-in-process.”
