“Boardwalk Kirkland, a seven-story, 171-unit luxury apartment building at 434 Kirkland Way, is officially LEED Platinum certified. The project, which is developed and owned by MRM Kirkland, opened in 2021.

The certification honors the design team and project architect Baylis Architects’ commitment to creating a building that supports both occupant and environmental health. Baylis describes Boardwalk as a tribute to Kirkland’s lakeside location designed to create an engaging pedestrian experience. It is around a half-mile walk from the waterfront.”

The official opening ceremony was on March 17. The state Department of Ecology — which greatly assisted the prior environmental cleanup — is now featuring the project on its blog.”
